Archery is the ultimate sport for all! It is the sport where people of any age, any size, and any ability can compete equally.

Old Basing Archers is a friendly club with its range at the recreation ground in the village of Old Basing, Hampshire. Formed in 1967, its membership spans all abilities and includes long-bow, recurve and compound archers.

We are a family oriented archery club and have special membership rates for juniors and family groups. On completion of one of our beginners’ courses archers may use the basic club equipment or modern equipment may be hired from the club. This enables the novice to develop their technique to a level where investment in their own equipment is justified.

During the summer, the club runs several shoots for club members as well as open shoots including the ANDOBA FITA of which Old Basing Archers is the joint organiser with Andover Archers.   During the winter months, weekly indoor shooting sessions are held at the village hall as well as outdoor 'Frostbite' shoots. The club regularly competes in the British Archer winter postal competitions.

Old Basing Archers is affiliated to the Hampshire Archery Association, Southern Counties Archery Society and Archery GB (the governing body for target archery in the UK).
